Rome: bursts with history, art, and delicious food. Lording it over the skyline, St Peter’s Basilica towers over the Vatican, testifying to the ambition of Rome’s Renaissance popes and the genius of its game-changing architects.
Florence: a living city with an eclectic cultural life that embraces opera, classical music and contemporary art. Also known as the cradle of the Renaissance, is one of Europe’s great art cities.
San Gimignano: a tiny city that has remained intact through the centuries; situated on a hilltop, it is famous for its numerous towers, frescoes and other art treasures.
Day 1: ARRIVAL ROME (35km – 45min / 1km – 10min)
Whether you arrive at Rome Airport or Train Station, a driver will be waiting for you and take you to your hotel in a private transfer (Meeting points: Arrivals Hall at Fiumicino Airport/ at the end of platform 1 at Rome Termini Station). Settle in your room, with the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2: ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a small group tour. A half-day tour in the outstanding Museo Nazionale Romano, where Roman artistic treasures are kept, and Michelangelo became an architect. Ancient Rome and the Colosseum are huge and overwhelming, but where is all the precious art gone? That's kept in the Museo Nazionale Romano, Palazzo Massimo and Terme di Diocleziano. In the short span of morning hours, you'll see so many famous art treasures away from the crowd and traffic; you'll stroll in an evergreen wood once belonging to the Thermal Baths of Diocletian, what's more, that huge courtyard was restored by Michelangelo! Let your guide treat you with lost statues from the imperial palace such as Myron's Discobolus (Discus Thrower) and the Old Boxer, richly painted frescoes from the Garden Villa of Empress Livia, colorful mosaics and tombs of any sort and kind! At the end of the tour, keep some space in your heart for science and astronomy, as you will walk in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, housing the one and only planetary sundial built by XVII century astronomers for the Pope to calculate the perfect sequence of day and night throughout the seasons. Day 3: ROME
Wake up to a rich breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a professionally guided tour of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, skipping long entrance lines. No stress to reach the area: upon arrival, your guide will lead you into the museums, through our preferred entrance, hence you’ll visit one of the most important art collections of the world. Admire the Gallery of Tapestries, and the Geographical Maps before arriving at the famous Sistine Chapel and the unforgettable Basilica! After the Sistine Chapel, you will be taken through exclusive access to St. Peter’s Basilica, skipping long lines. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 4: ROME – FLORENCE (90min by high-speed train, included)
Have a delicious breakfast at the hotel and then meet your driver in the hotel lobby for and private transfer to Rome Termini train station where they will board a high-speed train to Florence. Upon arrival, you will meet their driver within Florence’s train station and transfer to Florence hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: FLORENCE – SAN GIMIGNANO – CHIANTI – SIENA – FLORENCE (4hrs – 225km)
Delight in a tasty breakfast at the hotel. Today you’ll visit the Chianti Region and enjoy a wine tasting and lunch in a local winery. The village of San Gimignano, the Chianti area and the medieval town of Siena are situated in the heart of our beautiful Tuscany. They are all compelling stops for those who want to learn about the region’s history and traditions. The first stop will be San Gimignano. Here you will have free time to visit the village and its splendid squares, palaces, churches and magnificent towers. The tour continues to the splendid area of the Chianti Classico. We will stop by a typical Tuscan winery where you will visit the cellars and vineyards and enjoy wine tasting. In the afternoon the tour continues with sightseeing in Siena. Here our local guide will lead our tour to the city centre. You will have the chance to admire the magnificent Cathedral and the Town Hall in the Piazza del Campo, the scenery of the world-famous Palio horse race. The tour will end with the visit to the marvellous Monteriggioni medieval fortress and then start your ride back to Florence where the tour will end.

Day 6: DEPARTURE FLORENCE (8km – 20min)
A private car will pick up you up from the hotel lobby and transfer you to Florence Airport for your flight back home.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Italy. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
